Information about Clan Risen's TeamFortress Server

The server IP was: 137.226.116.82

This server was online weekdays from 21:00 to 6:00 CET and continously from Friday, 21:00 CET until Monday, 6:00 CET. The server was finally shut down in 2000.

Any flames regarding temporary inavailability, potential crashes, or unpopular server settings will be cheerfully ignored.

Please check our files page for a full list and description of all maps played on the server. You are required to read the readme that usually comes with each map, as some maps have special features or rules. Not reading the readme and playing anyways can have results as bad as spoiling the gameplay for everybody else on the server, because you do not know what the heck you are doing.

Settings used on this server:

Cheat Checking
This option checks whether anybody is screwing with his or her maxspeed. People caught cheating in this way will be kicked no questions asked.

AutoTeam
During the regular uptimes of the server and while no appointed battles (e.g. Clan Matches) are fought, you will not be able to choose which team you play on. Instead, the server will have you join the team with the least members.

Full Team Score
As the name suggests, Team Fortress is a team game, thus on our server all members of one team share the same score which is accumulated by fragging enemies as well as capping the flag.

Grapple
This server has the grappling hook enabled for all maps which allow it. It is way too much fun to leave it turned off 8)

Flag Emulation
This server will display "proper" TF flags even on old maps which normally use the Quake keys for the flags.

War Standard
These look so much cooler than the regular flags, so of course we turned this option on.

Team Equalisation
The server is set up so that it gives an advantage to the team which has less members and/or the lower score. This was done in order to offset the fact that it is impossible to ensure even teams on a public server where people can leave/join all the time.

Mirror Damage
As there are still some idiots around who are too stupid to realise what team they are on, and in order to enforce better team cooperation/communication, shooting a team member will mirror half the damage back to you, as will throwing grenades at them.
