• Disable reversing of trains waiting at signals:

Internals

Time

• Time is measured in ticks
• A day is 74 ticks (DAY_TICKS)
• A year is 365 days

Space

• The map is divided in tiles
• A tile is divided in 16 coordinate units (TILE_SIZE)
• Directions are not aligned to the coordinate grid, but to the screen, ie. north is at the top of the screen
• A straight rail track along the coordinate axis is 16 coordinate units long, a diagonal one 8 coordinate units
• FIXME: double-check The rail track exiting a depot is 12 coordinate units long for depots facing north-west or north-east and 11 coordinate units for depots facing south-east or south-west

Train speed

• Train speed is measured in mph / 1.6
• Entering/leaving a depot: 61

Curve speed

• Monorail receives a bonus of ⌊speed/2⌋, Maglev of 2*⌊speed/2⌋ onto their curve speed limits
• A single 45°-turn or two 45°-turns in different directions do not impose any speed limit
• A 90°-turn imposes a speed limit of 61 (91 / 121)
• Two immediate ??? 45°-turns: 88

speed + ⌊speed / 2⌋

• mass - total weight (including cargo) of the train in tonnes
• power - power of the train in horse power
• vehicles - number of vehicles in the train
• train_slope_steepness - Slope steepness for trains (3% by default)
• speed - current speed of the train in miles per hour / 1.6
